The World Passions (2019 update)
We finally managed a last major update for the global English Negapedia, which is streamlined with the recent nationalization project that we have been rolling out in 2019. The English Negapedia has been upgraded and will stay synched with all the existing and upcoming Negapedia's. Let's see a panoramic of this refreshed view on the global society.
Starting with the all-time top ten of conflict, we see a podium composed by George W. Bush, Wikipedia and the United States. The next three places are an alternating combination made up by Adolf Hitler, Barack Obama and Jesus. So, earth beats paradise: contemporary politicians and the US take the leading roles, Hitler comes next (although fading in the last years) and then Jesus follows. Going on into this alternation, the next positions are taken by Britney Spears, Democracy, Michael Jackson and Harry Potter: after earth politics and paradise, music and the arts again intermingle with the fundamental political idea of our world, the same concept of Democracy.
The last year, 2018, sees a podium made by people and sport: Sridavi, the "first female superstar" of Indian cinema, gets the gold medal, followed by the 2018 Winter Olympics and by Prince Harry. The rest of the top ten sees a strong presence of people (cricketer Rohit Sharma, activist Tommy Robinson, actor Jack Black, actress Gal Gadot), but also mixed entries like Walmart, the 2.0 science fiction movie, and the Stoneman Douglas High School shooting.
Browsing thru 2018 conflicts thru specific categories, here are some selected picks. In Health we find in the podium again a battle between hell and paradise: the Urinary system and Cosmetics. In Nature, here comes in the podium Modern flat Earth societies (yes ladies and gentlemen, it's 2018!). In Religion, Jehovah's Witnesses almost get the top position (but Krishna beats them). In Technology, Artificial Intelligence wins (are you surprised?), followed by the strange couple made by Windows 10 and the Assault weapon (next time Windows gets stuck, you know what to do). In Society, Terrorism and School shooting get the podium (but Walmart beats them all). The most debated geographical place? No, it's not the USA, which is not even in the top ten: Paris gets close in second place, but the gold medal goes to Finland (!) The world most debated issues in Philosophy and thinking? The top spot goes to the White genocide conspiracy theory, with in the top ten also the White Supremacy. Oh, but do not despair, it's not all that gloomy, the world philosophical debate is various, so here we go also with Capitalism and Veganism, as well as interesting pairs like Friendship and Illegal immigration. Confused about the variety of the global society? Don't be, we can always resort to the logical world of Mathematics. Here the most debated issues include the place where it all starts, the number 1, which (consistently...) gets the first place: math is easy after all.
What about the current year 2019? So far, the first place goes again to a person, South Korean singer Jungkook, followed on the podium by two political events belonging to US contemporary history: the 2020 Democratic Party presidential primaries and the 2018–19 United States federal government shutdown. The rest of the top ten is again filled by lot of people, mixing arts and politics (rappers Danielle Bregoli and Blueface, politicians Ilhan Omar and Juan Guaidó), but also with entertainment popping up, with videogames (Brawl Star) and sport (the Super Bowl LIII).
The situation is still evolving for 2019, but let us mention, within these temporary rankings, the most heated cultural issue in the world so far: The Three Little Pigs. Is the world afraid of the big bad wolf? We'll see as soon as this 2019 goes on.

Le Passioni del Mondo (aggiornamento 2019)
È finalmente disponibile l'atteso aggiornamento della Negapedia Inglese, che è stato sviluppato in linea con il recente progetto nazionalizzazioni che stiamo rendendo man mano pubblico nel 2019. La Negapedia Inglese ha conseguentemente avuto un aggiornamento tecnologico e resterà ora sincronizzata con tutte le Negapedie esistenti e future. Vediamo una panoramica di questa visione aggiornata della società globale.
Cominciando con la top ten di tutti i tempi del conflitto, vediamo un podio composto da George W. Bush, Wikipedia e gli Stati Uniti. I tre posti successivi presentano un'alternanza composta da Adolf Hitler, Barack Obama e Gesù. Quindi, il mondo terreno batte il paradiso: la politica contemporanea e gli Stati Uniti sono i protagonisti a livello mondiale, Hitler segue (anche se con minore interesse negli ultimi anni) e Gesù viene dopo. Proseguendo in questa alternanza, le posizioni successive sono occupate da Britney Spears, la Democrazia, Michael Jackson ed Harry Potter: dopo la politica terrestre ed il paradiso, ecco che musica ed arte si mescolano con il concetto politico fondamentale del nostro mondo, il concetto stesso di Democrazia.
L'ultimo anno, il 2018, vede un podio composto da persone e sport: Sridavi, la prima superstar femminile del cinema indiano, prende la medaglia d'oro, seguita dalle Olimpiadi Invernali 2018 e dal Principe Harry. Il resto della top ten vede una forte presenza di persone (il giocatore di cricket Rohit Sharma, l'attivista Tommy Robinson, l'attore Jack Black, l'attrice Gal Gadot), ma anche presenze variegate dal resto della società, come la catena di supermercati Walmart, il film di fantascienza 2.0, e la sparatoria al liceo Stoneman Douglas.
Guardando ai conflitti del 2018 per categorie specifiche, ecco alcuni esempi selezionati. Per quanto riguarda la Salute troviamo sul podio nuovamente una battaglia tra inferno e paradiso: il Sistema urinario ed i Cosmetici. In Natura ecco sul podio le Società moderne della Terra Piatta (proprio così signore e signori, è l'anno 2018!). Nella Religione, i Testimoni di Jehovah raggiungono quasi il primo posto (ma sono battuti da Krishna). Nella Tecnologia, l'Intelligenza Artificiale prende il primo posto (sorpresi?), seguita dalla strana coppia composta da Windows 10 e l'Arma d'assalto (la prossima volta che Windows si blocca, sapete cosa fare). Nella Società, il Terrorismo e le Sparatorie nelle scuole vanno sul podio (ma i supermercati Walmart li battono). Il posto geografico più dibattuto? No, non sono gli USA, che non sono neanche nella top ten: Parigi arriva vicina, col suo secondo posto, ma la medaglia d'oro va alla Finlandia (!) Gli argomenti più dibattuti al mondo in Filosofia e pensiero? Il primo posto va alla Teoria della cospirazione del Genocidio dei Bianchi, con nella top ten anche la Supremazia dei Bianchi. Oh, ma non disperiamo, non è tutto così cupo, il dibattito filosofico del mondo è vario, e quindi ecco anche il Capitalismo ed il Veganismo, così come coppie interessanti quali l'Amicizia e l'Immigrazione clandestina. Confusi dalla varietà della società globale? Non lo siate, possiamo sempre rifugiarci nel mondo logico della Matematica. Qui gli argomenti più dibattuti includono il posto dove tutto ha inizio, il numero 1, che (coerentemente...) è al primo posto: la matematica è facile dopotutto.
E per quanto riguarda l'anno corrente 2019? Finora, il primo posto va nuovamente ad una persona, il cantante Sud Coreano Jungkook, seguito sul podio da due eventi politici della storia contemporanea americana: le primarie presidenziali 2020 del partito democratico ed il blocco del governo federale americano 2018–19. Il resto della top ten è riempito da molte persone, in una mescolanza artistica e politica (i rapper Danielle Bregoli e Blueface, i politici Ilhan Omar e Juan Guaidó), ma è presente anche l'intrattenimento, con i videogame (Brawl Star) e lo sport (il Super Bowl LIII).
La situazione è ancora in evoluzione nel 2019, ma merita una menzione, in queste classifiche temporanee, l'argomento culturale più infuocato al mondo: I Tre Porcellini. Il mondo ha paura del Lupo Cattivo? Lo vedremo man mano che il 2019 avanza.
